Rubinich, G. Edward 74, of Nutley died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Mr. Rubinich was born in Ringoes, NJ, lived in Hoboken for 5 years, Lyndhurst for over 20 years, and has been a resident of Nutley for the past 44 years. Edward was a Carpenter and worked throughout the Tri-State area before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the NJ Carpenters Union Local #15 of Hackensack. Mr. Rubinich was an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of the Elks and Unico both of Nutley, and an AmFriend of the Amvets Post #20, of Lyndhurst. Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Delores (nee Conzo) Rubinich, his loving children, Tony Rubinich and his wife Laura of Fairfield, Lisa Rubinich and her husband, Farley Katz of Montclair, his five dear grandchildren, Alexa, Anthony, Andrew, Remy and Meredith and his sisters, Mary Ann Zanconato and Rosemary McDowell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart RC Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation private. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
