Benenati, Marie “Babe” (nee Collura), 81, of Venice, FL died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Mrs. Benenati was born in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as a Seamstress. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Collura. Marie is survived by her three sons, Vincent and Octavia Benenati of Andover, MA, Gary Benenati and Joseph Benenati, both of North Port, FL, her five grandchildren, Scott Benenati of W. Minster, CO, Ashley and Vincent Benenati of Andover, MA and Samantha and Nicolas Benenati of North Port, FL, her one great-granddaughter, Sage Benenati, her husband, Vincent J Benenati of North Port, FL and by her siblings, Margie and Joe Potestivo and James and Fran Collura. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral service held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
